                                      Similarities/Differences To Each Other    

     In the last couple of chapter's Aunt Alexandra has been introduced more properly. Atticus and Aunt Alexandra may have a lot of differences but there are some similarities. Now the obvious similarity is that they both want wants best for Scout and Jem, no doubt about that. In the same way how ever their version of whats best for them is completely different. First Aunt Alexandra wants Scout to be more like a girl. She also wants them to believe that they are better than everybody else. While Atticus wants her to be herself and treat others with respect no matter what they do to you. In rare occasions they will end up agreeing with each other on certain situations, but not much. Another  difference is that Alexandra is more of a snob and is very annoying when it comes to manners. With Atticus he believes that everyone is equal and he wants his children to think of other people the same way he does. 

                                                 Relationship To Scout 

     Atticus has a strong relationship with Scout. He has a strong relationship with scout is because he is her father, he never was a mean person. She looked up to him as well, he also gives special advice to Scout that would help her in future problems. Alexandra however seemed very annoying to Scout, she always hated her especially when she would make to act like a lady. So most of the time she just tries to avoid her as much as she can. 

                                                     Effects On Scout 

     Atticus has a great effect on Scout, he is always trying to keep her positive and not let her worry about what other people say. She thinks he is very wise, mostly about the advice he gives her. Overall Atticus does a great job on effecting Scout in a positive way. Alexandra is completely different from Atticus. Alexandra gives more of a negative Effect on Scout, she always speaks to her as if she were a dog. Always wanting her to change the way she acts like, this is destroying Scout emotionally. Scout has stated that she would run away because she would always talk about her with Atticus. In general she effects scout in a negative way and I hope she stops soon before Scout starts believing what she says.  

Maycomb County Photo Blog

                                    Observation              

This picture illustrates what Maycomb County might look like. In the photo that I have found, it tells me a lot about when it was taken. In the photo all the houses seem to be made out of wood. It seems like everyone there is pretty poor. I assume this because of the way they dress. All the streets or sidewalks are pretty much dirt, grass, and some gravel. Some more houses in the distance with some other power lines. 2 people are on a porch just looking in a camera. I think they might not have been expecting them to take a picture of them.

                                      Reflection         

     This is a lot like Maycomb in from the description that Scout gave us. In the book scout said it had pretty low population, same in this picture. Very few houses and people shown in this picture. It also looks like its in the same season as most of the book depicts. In the picture the trees have leaves on them and grass is still growing. In the book it tells the reader that grass is growing in the side walk.
Now this picture might have been taken to show off something. It may also show the life/neighborhood of a negro family. This picture was taken in the 1940 which explains why the photo is in black and white.

                                        Questions

     I have a couple questions about my picture. What was the purpose of that picture? Did they ask the people in the picture? Was it his/her's home? I have no answers for this picture.

Election Reflection

                                        What are your thoughts on this election in general?

     My thoughts on this is a very unbiased opinion on both presidential parties. The whole thing has ended up being a very heated debate that no one can decide on. Both of them have done some equally horrible stuff. Both are receiving criticism and are trying to make each other look bad instead of paying more attention of more important topics. I also start realizing though that what they are saying might not happen. So why vote for someone if there is no guarantee if its actually going to happen. Overall this election has been a very interesting one.


                                         What are your thoughts on the election results?

     During the election I was following how everything was going and I was shocked to see that Donald Trump was having no problem with Hillary. When I woke up to find out our new president, I was completely shocked about what I just saw. Many other people were shocked too and mostly upset. Donald Trump won and now everyone is wondering how the future of america will be. I didn't agree that he won but it is what it is and I might as well have an open mind about him. Nobody knows if it will be a bad thing for him to be president. He has the potential in doing something beneficial  to this free country. People need to realize though that some of the stuff that he said he would do (for example: Deport every illegal immigrant) would probably be turned down by the house of congress.

               What are some issues you think are most important/interesting in relation to the election?

There are a good amount of important things that Donald needs to do. A big issue that needs to be taken care of is more jobs. Since Donald is lowering taxes for big companies should there be more jobs? I don't think that immigration isn't a huge deal but I don't completely disagree what he is trying to do. He also has to deal with Isis and find a way to defeat them. I think it is going to be very difficult because who is going to pay for it? He lowered the taxes with big companies/businesses so who is going to be able to afford big taxes for less wealthy people. Overall he has a very big responsibility and he better do it right.

To the ones who lost their lives
To the people who have survived
We thank you, this day
This day of remembrance
To the families who had a loss
And to the veterans, who gave their lives for us
We thank all the veterans
For serving a very righteous cause
Keeping us safe everyday
While most of us barely acknowledge them
Some scars they took for their country
Would never leave their soul
All the while protecting what they love
So we must honor their legacy
As they honored our country
And they have served us well
Protecting everyone as they go pursue less noble things
While our veterans were willing to gives theirs lives for us
And those who still live today
Will be appraised for their contributions
To serve this country for it to have freedom once again.

No matter how big or small

For you served this country no matter what cause

1st Quater Reflection

This quarter has went by so fast, the first quarter is about to end and im super confortable with my class mates and teachers. Although I have been here only for a couple of months I already see a challenging start to the school year. I will not be brought down, I plan to look forward instead of backwards.

During this class I have learned so much on how to be a writer, writing however is one of my biggest weaknesses in ELA. During this year I plan to learn a lot more and hope to be a amazing writer by the end of the year. The obstacles of becoming a good writer are getting difficult but im not giving up. My goal is to be able to write withought any problems with corrections etc... Right now I am having trouble with writing, most of the time it's because the direction get pretty confusing at times. Most of the time I have to stay up all night working but I end up not finishing it because I would fall asleep. 2nd goal for writing is to consistently write more than I normally do. It doesn't even have to be about school, im just going to write what ever I want to write just to keep my writing metallity in place. 

I will constantly try to do my best in writing

My 20 book challenge isn't doing very well. I wish I had more time to read but I have so much school work. I try to read as much as I can every night before I go to bed. By the end of the year I am hoping I will be able to do the rest of the challenge withought any stress. Besides the challenge I want to be a better reader. I want to be able to interpret what im reading instead of getting lost in a colpicated book. I will keep reading everyday and maybe write a few book reports for myself. 

This year has been a tough new expierence but im all in for more improvements in my work. I am looking forward (sarcastically) for the stress, no sleep etc... but I never said that fixing all the problems I have with my work will be quick. Who knows, maybe it will take a whole mother year for me to be a good write or reader. I will improve on anything this quaters and future quarters for me to enjoy this class.

Dear, family

Hello I am in a weird situation right now that is almost unexplainable. People might have noticed that I have been gone for a while and the reason for that is that I am dead. I have been given the time to write what has happened to me. This is what happened

I have been celebrating carnival, I enjoyed it very much and was about to start dancing until Montresor approached me. He said he got a hold of some very rare wine that I just had to have. He came for me for my opinion of the wine but also mentions Luchesi and how he would consult him with it. Me as the amazing wine taster I am got a little jealous and decided to go with Montresor to prove him wrong.

He lead me to his suspicious empty home and lead me to his families catacombs. That place is where he said he had the wine, so I foolishly followed him. The amount of nitre and dust caused a cough so Montresor gave me wine for me to drink to help my throat but he really just got me more drunk. I he offered me to go back but I was so determined to taste that wine. I still followed him and he lead me into a small area. I was chained up and I am now stuck in here forever.

I am now still in here and I wish I could talk to you, my family. But if you find my remains in here, read this letter and know that I am hoping that Montresor is punished for this crime. All of this is because of Montresor. But ironic isn’t it, wine is the thing I love but at the end the wine made me end up in this tragic and horrible situation.

You Must Follow The River of Life

You Must Follow The River of Life


In America, you can not use violence
Some people who you hurt can become your friend
Once you realize you will feel guilty
For something so small like an egg can lead to something horrible.
Stop at the start, so you don't not have a bad ending.
If not, you will become lost

Things may go bad
Parents can die or become sick
Your children can too
It could be your fault because it wasn't a good decision
You will make mistakes and even your children
You have to move on.

Sometimes when you try to do something good
You end up being punished when you tried.
But things so beautiful can be stolen by someone's recklessness
You must move on though
Keep it out of you thoughts

You must forgive
You must treat everyone as an angle
Never treat someone like a beetle
That is how you move on in life

You must spend the time you have left
Some of your loved once will die eventually
You must remember to spend the time the most with loved ones

After all of this though
Things are so preventable
But people decide not prevent it
The world is a dark place
You just have to make it good yourself.

OBAA Blog

        If you read " Beatles and Angles, written by Mawi Asgendom" and " Fleeing Terror, Finding Refuge Millions of Syrians escape an apocalyptic civil war, creating a historic crisis. By Paul Salopek
Photographs by John Stanmeyer." They seem pretty similar, they both talk about refugees except in Beatles and Angles it's a autobiography memoir. Now both of them are talking about refugees but in different times and different places, but they both show the same hostile actions of people against refugees. As the article " Fleeing Terror..." States " They were running from the bullets and knives of the Islamic State." and from "Beatles and Angles" it states, "   Sudanese rebel groups wage their own war against the Sundanese government and though the fighting never reached our camp, the Sudanese armies were always looking for new soldiers. They didn't they didn't hesitate to draft refugees.
They both tell us how everything was for the refugees.

        In the Article "Fleeing Terror..." It doesn't really talk about a specific person but it does explain what the refugees do during situations. The 2 sources have roughly the same idea, refugees. In "Beatles and Angles" it talks about the authors family from first person. The other source is third person point of view from millions of people. As the article states " All told, perhaps 12 million souls are adrift across the larger Middle East. Like the refugee crisis that festered during and after the Soviet-Afghan war of the 1980s—a Cold War contest that displaced and then utterly ignored millions of angry, hopeless people, spawning years of transnational Islamist terrorism—the political fallout in the region is unfathomable and will be lasting." In the article it compares the refugee crisis and the 1980s crisis.

        I think that war creates an uneasy environment for individuals or societies, it can cause total chaos. Different people have different feelings about war but most parents are afraid of their children getting hurt or being emotionally scared. They never know so then people will try to leave. By the end of the war the whole town might be a total ghost town. In some cases individuals might go through the depression and can commit suicide. The society could have diseases, and during the war medicine and doctors will be scares due to soldiers needed the care. In all everything will just be mayhem.

Welcome to My Blog

Hello, welcome to my blog. I am a 7th grader who loves learning new things. School

is fun but also stressful, so I'm a mixed about school. Some of my hobbies is playing basketball ( or any other sports.) I play the trumpet at school and it's my second year playing, I think I'm good at it.

I mostly enjoy writing when I am able to write about anything. I hope this could build my interest in writing, maybe even write a small book.

My goal will be 20 stories or just basic writing.
